ABOUT ME
Hello, I’m Sarah. I specialize in creating commercially successful home, gifting, and lifestyle products, I have a proven record in growing brands.
Since graduating with a first class degree from the University of Leeds. I have designed and worked for global brands such as, Anthropologie, Indigo, McGee & Co, Uncommon Goods, The Wander Club and Marks and Spencer. My designs have featured in publications and magazines around the world including, Elle Decor, Vogue, Living Etc, Elle Italy, The New York Times, House Beautiful and Harper’s Bazaar.
The first half of my career was spent working in the U.K. for Hallmark, Debenhams and Laura Ashley. In 2015, I was asked to lead the Decor and Gifting design team for Anthropologie, a dream come true–literally! I relocated to the U.S. that year and designed for Anthropologie for 3 years. In 2019, I moved on to become Design and Product Development Director for Uncommon Goods–a certified B Corp online gifting company. Here, I ran the own brand business of the company for 3 years.
In 2022, I set up my own design studio to enable me to juggle both my love of designing and travel. Since then I have partnered with some fantastic brands and travelled to some extraordinary places. I have been the resident designer for The Wander Club since 2022. I design all of their tokens, packaging and new product lines. With my gifting background I love to ideate and design thoughtful and emotive products that really connect with the customer.
I live by the beach in Queens, NY with my husband and cat, Henrietta. I am a avid traveller and keen mountaineer, in my spare time I love to ski, hike, check out the latest NYC bars or restaurants, visit art museums and play board games. When I am not busy designing, I climb mountains all over the world and lead groups of women on adventures of a lifetime with WHOA Travel. Further information about me and adventure can be found here.
Let’s work together!
